Rafale fighter jets arrive in India

In a major boost, to the Indian Air Force. The Dassault aviation handed over five Rafale jets with the add on the specifications as required by IAF. The deal for 36 Rafale was inked in the year 2016 for an approximate cost of 59,000 crores.
The Dassault aviation already handover 10 Rafale jets, out which 5 jets were safely landed at Ambala Air Force Station, and rest 5 are still in France to provide training and sorties to the Indian pilots.
The fleet, comprising three single-seater and two twin-seater aircraft, will be part of the No. 17 Squadron of the Air Force, also known as the ''Golden Arrows'.
